Qualifications and Experience:
- Current LCSW license required
- Must possess an NPI number and be registered on the PAVE portal
- Previous school-based social work experience strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to provide counseling, crisis intervention, and support for students
- Excellent collaborative, organizational, and communication skills
- Candidates who are already credentialed will be given priority consideration
Essential Responsibilities:
- Deliver individual and group counseling services to students as part of the school's mental health program
- Support the development and implementation of intervention strategies in concert with educators, administrators, and families
- Maintain compliance with all documentation, confidentiality, and legal requirements
- Act as a resource for staff and families regarding mental wellness, behavioral interventions, and community resources
- Participate in student support teams and contribute to overall positive school climate
- Maintain thorough record-keeping and provide timely reports as needed
