Social Worker in Apple Valley, CA

What you bring:

• Current LCSW license (required)
• Experience as a school social worker or similar youth-focused setting
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based interventions for school-aged children
• Credentialing as a school social worker is highly preferred
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills
• Ability to manage caseload, conduct assessments, and work with multidisciplinary teams
• Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion

Your key responsibilities:

• Provide direct individual and group counseling for students in need
• Participate in student support meetings and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
• Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop intervention plans
• Serve as a resource for crisis intervention and restorative practices
• Advocate for students’ well-being and connect families to appropriate community resources
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school policies
