Key Qualifications:

• Minimum of three years’ experience as a social worker in schools
• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program
• Active Colorado Special Service Provider license—School Social Worker (ages birth through 21)
• Experience working with student populations from early childhood through high school
• Ability to complete all district credentialing, including background check and fingerprints

Responsibilities:

• Deliver mental health and counseling services to students across two assigned campuses
• Support students’ academic success by addressing personal, psychological, behavioral, and attendance concerns
• Refer students to outside agencies when necessary to address economic, emotional, or physical challenges
• Conduct student assessments, maintain detailed case files, and communicate findings to teachers, parents, and administrators
• Facilitate remediation plans, counseling sessions, and workshops to support student wellbeing
• Commit to the full school year, ensuring consistent support for your assigned students
