This assignment runs from August 7, 2026, through October 26, 2026, with working hours from 8:00 am to 2:30 pm, making it ideal for those seeking consistent daytime hours.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or certification for school social work
- Previous experience in a K-12 educational setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and related documentation
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of approximately 40 students as designated
- Conduct one-on-one and small group sessions to meet students’ IEP service minutes
- Develop and implement individualized strategies that address students’ emotional, social, and academic needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to foster positive student outcomes
- Maintain accurate records and reports per district and legal requirements
- Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings during the assignment
- Provide crisis intervention and resource referrals as needed
