Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program
• Valid state licensure or certification for school social work
• Previous experience in a K-12 educational setting preferred
• Strong knowledge of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and related documentation
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families

Main Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of approximately 40 students as designated
• Conduct one-on-one and small group sessions to meet students’ IEP service minutes
• Develop and implement individualized strategies that address students’ emotional, social, and academic needs
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to foster positive student outcomes
• Maintain accurate records and reports per district and legal requirements
• Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings during the assignment
• Provide crisis intervention and resource referrals as needed
