Social Worker in Aurora, IL

In this onsite role, you will collaborate closely with classroom educators, special education staff, and related service providers. The caseload consists of approximately 25 elementary students, along with opportunities to provide push-in services within special education settings. Qualifications:

• Valid Illinois School Social Worker (IL SSW) license required
• Current PEL with School Social Worker endorsement necessary
• Demonstrated prior school-based experience as a social worker
• Strong communication skills, with a comfort in both individual and group settings
• A collaborative approach and commitment to supporting a diverse student body

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individual and group counseling, intervention, and crisis support to students
• Implement push-in services to special education classrooms
