Make a meaningful impact working onsite as a contracted School Social Worker, supporting students in grades 6-8. This position provides an excellent opportunity to help guide and empower middle school students through vital developmental years. You'll be working with a manageable caseload of 35 students, offering both direct and consultative services to foster emotional well-being and academic progress.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Worker endorsement is required
  • Previous experience with grades 6-8 preferred; experience with broader grade ranges (K-12) valued
  • Strong understanding of IEP process and documentation
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Major Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consult minutes as designated in students’ IEPs
  • Collect, analyze, and maintain data for progress reporting
  • Complete all necessary paperwork for IEP Annual Reviews, Initial, and Reevaluation Meetings
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and related service providers to create comprehensive supports
  • Provide counseling and support services that help students overcome social, emotional, or academic barriers
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive environment to promote growth for all students
