Work directly with a caseload of 35 students, delivering essential social work services during regular school hours (8:15 AM – 3:45 PM, Monday through Friday). Your expertise will help create inclusive, supportive environments where every student has the tools to succeed.
What You’ll Need to Bring:
- PEL (Professional Educator License) with School Social Worker endorsement (required)
- Certification appropriate for social work in a school setting
- Experience supporting students in grades 6-8 preferred (but K-5 and 9-12 experience valuable)
- Strong organizational skills for managing caseloads and meeting deadlines
- Confidence and experience in facilitating IEP meetings, gathering data, and preparing reports
- Passion for fostering student growth and well-being
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct minutes and consult minutes for designated students
- Efficiently manage and track student caseloads and goals
- Gather and analyze data for progress monitoring and communicate results to IEP teams
- Complete all required IEP paperwork for Annual Reviews, Initial Meetings, and Reevaluation Meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create and monitor effective support plans
- Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations
