Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program
• Current state licensure/certification as a School Social Worker
• Previous experience with students in grades 5–9
• Strong understanding of adolescent growth and behavioral dynamics
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with diverse student populations, including those facing academic, social, or family challenges
• Proficiency in case management, crisis intervention, and collaboration with teachers and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support and counseling to students in grades 5–9, addressing behavioral, social, and emotional concerns
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans
• Serve as a liaison among students, families, teachers, and administration to foster positive school climates
• Conduct assessments, document case progress, and maintain confidential records
• Lead or participate in group sessions and classroom presentations on relevant life skills
• Advocate for students’ needs and connect them to appropriate resources
