Required Skills and Experience:
- Valid and current full school social work certification (please provide proof upon application)
- Previous experience working within K-12 school settings preferred
- Excellent interpersonal communication, crisis intervention, and problem-solving abilities
- Deep understanding of diverse student populations and sensitivity to varying backgrounds
- Ability to collaborate effectively with school leadership, teachers, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group interventions addressing students’ social, behavioral, and mental health needs
- Serve as a liaison among families, faculty, and community resources to foster student success
- Support crisis response for urgent student needs and participate in school-wide initiatives
- Maintain accurate, confidential records in compliance with school and legal guidelines
- Advocate for student rights and access to services and accommodations
