Make a meaningful impact supporting students in grades K-3 as a School Social Worker for the 2026-2027 academic year. This contract position offers the opportunity to work full-time (35-40 hours per week) with a dedicated team focused on student well-being and success. This role begins as soon as possible and runs through June 2027.

Required skills and background:

  • Master’s degree in social work
  • Current LSW or LCSW license
  • Previous experience working as a school social worker
  • Demonstrated ability to address the social and emotional needs of elementary-aged children, specifically those in grades K-3
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

In this rewarding position, you will:

  • Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention for students K-3
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ academic and social-emotional development
  • Conduct assessments and develop action plans that address students’ behavioral, emotional, and social needs
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to individualized interventions
  • Serve as a resource for families, connecting them with school and community-based services
  • Help create a positive, inclusive school climate

For professionals with the required credentials, this role offers a pay range of $40 to $52 per hour. You’ll have the chance to help create real, lasting change for young learners, build valuable experience, and contribute to a positive school community.
