Social Worker in Bensalem, PA

This position focuses on delivering targeted Social Emotional Learning (SEL) utilizing the Character Strong curriculum. You'll lead engaging group sessions, provide responsive one-on-one counseling, and help fulfill essential support mandates such as Act 1 and Act 158 requirements.

Qualifications:

• Valid school social worker credentials
• Previous experience in a school or youth-centered setting
• Familiarity with, or willingness to learn, the Character Strong curriculum
• Knowledge of Act 1 and Act 158
• Excellent communication, empathy, and group facilitation skills
• Ability to foster a safe, supportive environment for students

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate group SEL sessions using the Character Strong curriculum
• Deliver individualized counseling and support as needed
• Provide crisis intervention and social work services aligned with Act 1 protocols
• Assist students and staff in meeting Act 158 requirements
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student success
• Maintain detailed, confidential records of student interactions and progress
• Engage thoughtfully with grades 6-12, adapting approaches to meet diverse needs

Schedule:
Work hours are Monday-Friday, 7:15 AM to 3:15 PM.
