Ideal candidates should have:

• A valid LMSW or LCSW in New Mexico.
• An active PED credential as a School Social Worker in New Mexico.
• Experience supporting high school-aged youth in a school setting.
• Strong skills in both individual and small group counseling.
• Demonstrated experience in case management and crisis intervention.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing direct social-emotional support to students through counseling (both individual and small group).
• Managing a diverse caseload with thorough documentation.
• Collaborating actively with educators, families, and community providers.
• Leading and assisting with crisis response and intervention strategies.
• Advocating for students and ensuring access to appropriate services and resources.
