Requirements and Desired Experience:

  • Current, valid Colorado Social Worker License required
  • Professional experience working with children or adolescents, particularly in a school setting, is highly valued
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to build reliable relationships with students, families, and staff
  • Eagerness to adapt to a dynamic environment and address a diverse range of needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess the social, emotional, and behavioral needs of students
  • Provide targeted interventions, crisis support, and counseling as appropriate
  • Facilitate communication and partnership between students, families, and school personnel
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans
  • Maintain appropriate documentation and uphold all relevant ethical and legal requirements
  • Participate in IEP and 504 team meetings as needed
  • Actively assist in gathering and organizing caseload details to ensure comprehensive student support
