Qualifications and Experience Desired:

  • Valid state credential/certification as a School Social Worker (Type 73 or PEL with Social Work endorsement)

  • Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion in educational settings

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver social work services to 8th grade students (20-25 caseload), including both general and special education populations
  • Conduct individual or group counseling to support emotional, social, and academic growth
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to promote successful student outcomes
  • Develop and implement intervention strategies tailored to students’ unique needs
  • Document services, assessments, and progress in alignment with school and legal requirements
  • Support crisis intervention and serve as a resource to staff for student welfare issues
