This contract opportunity offers the chance to work directly with students as a School Counselor, School Social Worker, or School-Based Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), addressing academic, behavioral, and emotional needs. The position is part-time with a possibility of increasing to full-time, running through June 2027, and features a collaborative setting in a specialized program focused on student well-being.

Schedule:

  • Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 8:30 AM – 1:00 PM
  • Tuesday, Thursday: 10:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) Certification
  • Full credentials as either a School Counselor, School Social Worker, or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
  • Direct experience in school-based social work or counseling roles
  • Strong interpersonal communication and case management skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to supporting students’ overall well-being

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver counseling, crisis intervention, and support services to students
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and administrators to monitor progress and coordinate care
  • Maintain accurate documentation and participate in student support meetings
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe school climate
