Desired Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current, active Social Worker license with School Social Worker endorsement (#071) required
  • Prior experience working in school environments or with school-aged children preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and staff
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and respond to diverse student needs
  • Efficient organizational and recordkeeping abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct services to students, supporting their social, emotional, and behavioral needs
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, and administrators to support comprehensive student care
  • Participate in student support meetings, develop intervention strategies, and contribute to educational planning
  • Serve as a resource for families and guardians, providing guidance, referrals, and advocacy as needed
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional standards within the school setting
