Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current and valid licensure as a School Social Worker
- Experience working with Pre K-12th grade students in a school or similar setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engagement with students, families, and faculty
- Ability to manage caseloads and provide both individual and group interventions
- Familiarity with IEP processes, crisis intervention, and behavioral support plans
- Adaptable, resourceful, and committed to professional collaboration
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify student needs and develop personalized support plans
- Deliver counseling services and behavioral interventions for students across grade levels
- Partner with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student well-being and positive school climate
- Assist with crisis intervention, attendance concerns, and school-wide programs promoting mental health and social-emotional learning
- Maintain documentation and participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings as required
- Advocate for students and connect families with additional community resources where necessary
