Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current and valid licensure as a School Social Worker
  • Experience working with Pre K-12th grade students in a school or similar setting preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engagement with students, families, and faculty
  • Ability to manage caseloads and provide both individual and group interventions
  • Familiarity with IEP processes, crisis intervention, and behavioral support plans
  • Adaptable, resourceful, and committed to professional collaboration

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify student needs and develop personalized support plans
  • Deliver counseling services and behavioral interventions for students across grade levels
  • Partner with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student well-being and positive school climate
  • Assist with crisis intervention, attendance concerns, and school-wide programs promoting mental health and social-emotional learning
  • Maintain documentation and participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings as required
  • Advocate for students and connect families with additional community resources where necessary
