Desired Experience & Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work, with licensure appropriate for school-based practice
• Previous experience as a school social worker or in a related educational setting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and staff
• Knowledge of social-emotional learning, crisis intervention, and community resource referrals
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality

Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling to support students’ academic and social-emotional needs
• Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement intervention strategies
• Identify and assess students at risk, coordinate appropriate services and referrals
• Participate in special education evaluation processes and IEP meetings
• Lead crisis response efforts and provide support during emergencies
• Advocate for students and collaborate with community agencies as necessary
• Maintain thorough records and complete documentation in a timely manner
