• Valid licensure as a School Social Worker in Illinois (Type 73 or Professional Educator License with School Social Worker Endorsement)
• Experience working in educational settings, preferably K-12

• The ability to build trust and rapport with students, staff, and parents
• Understanding of IEP processes, behavioral interventions, and social-emotional supports
• Compassion, adaptability, and cultural competence

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting individual and group counseling sessions for students facing academic, behavioral, or social challenges
• Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families to design and monitor intervention plans
• Providing crisis intervention and conflict resolution as needed
• Supporting students with IEPs and participating in multi-disciplinary team meetings
• Connecting families with community resources and services
• Maintaining documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
