Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Active and current licensure as a Social Worker in Illinois
• Previous experience in a school or educational setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse populations
• Ability to assess students' needs and develop appropriate intervention strategies
• Organizational skills and adaptability to support multiple students and priorities
• Comfortable participating in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions for students addressing social, emotional, and behavioral concerns
• Develop and implement intervention plans in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other specialists
• Act as a vital resource for crisis intervention and prevent school-related issues
• Participate in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and provide documentation as required
• Serve as a liaison between school, families, and community agencies to ensure continuity of care and support
• Deliver staff training and guidance on relevant mental health topics and resources
