Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution
  • Active state licensure as a Social Worker (LCSW or equivalent)
  • Previous experience in a school setting, preferably working with diverse populations
  • Strong understanding of emotional, behavioral, and mental health support strategies for children and adolescents
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and crisis intervention skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and community agencies

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and group counseling services to students facing academic, social, and emotional challenges
  • Conduct assessments and develop intervention plans tailored to student needs
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and caregivers to design strategies supporting students’ success
  • Facilitate referrals to community resources and collaborate with external agencies as needed
  • Lead or participate in crisis response teams within the school
  • Maintain detailed and confidential records in compliance with regulations and ethical standards
