Key Qualifications:

  • Valid licensure as a School Social Worker or equivalent state credentials
  • Experience or practicum in primary and/or secondary school settings preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of behavioral intervention strategies and crisis management
  • Strong advocacy, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for student support
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and special education practices is a plus

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify students’ social, emotional, and behavioral challenges
  • Develop and implement individualized plans and interventions to enhance student success
  • Serve as a liaison between home, school, and community resources
  • Facilitate and participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student needs
  • Offer counseling, crisis intervention, and conflict resolution services to students and families
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff on classroom management strategies and student support plans
  • Maintain accurate documentation and communicate progress with stakeholders
