Social Worker in Clarks Summit, PA

Key Qualifications:

• Hold valid licensure and credentials as a School Social Worker
• Previous experience working with children in grades K-4, preferably in an educational or emotional support setting
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff
• Ability to assess student needs, develop intervention strategies, and monitor progress
• Dedicated to fostering a safe, positive, and supportive learning environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct social work services to elementary students, especially those in emotional support programs
• Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to develop individualized plans and connect students to essential resources
• Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and behavioral support as needed
• Participate actively in student support teams and multidisciplinary meetings
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive school atmosphere that values every child’s well-being
