School Social Worker - Colorado Springs, CO

Working with a manageable caseload of approximately 45 students across at least two schools, you’ll provide crucial services and interventions that address students’ academic and emotional needs.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid or eligible to apply for a Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license
• Previous experience as a school social worker or in a related clinical/educational setting
• Proven ability to work with K-12 populations, addressing a variety of needs and supporting diverse backgrounds
• Strong communication skills for engaging with staff, students, and families
• Commitment to onsite-only work for the duration of the contract

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver services focused on student learning, wellbeing, and goal attainment
• Adapt interventions and support strategies to serve individual students with varying ability levels and needs
• Foster student engagement, self-advocacy, and critical thinking through innovative and supportive techniques
• Maintain a safe and supervised environment for all students during service delivery
• Uphold established policies regarding health, safety, welfare, and educational standards within the school community
