Working with a manageable caseload of approximately 45 students across at least two schools, you’ll provide crucial services and interventions that address students’ academic and emotional needs.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid or eligible to apply for a Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license
- Previous experience as a school social worker or in a related clinical/educational setting
- Proven ability to work with K-12 populations, addressing a variety of needs and supporting diverse backgrounds
- Strong communication skills for engaging with staff, students, and families
- Commitment to onsite-only work for the duration of the contract
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver services focused on student learning, wellbeing, and goal attainment
- Adapt interventions and support strategies to serve individual students with varying ability levels and needs
- Foster student engagement, self-advocacy, and critical thinking through innovative and supportive techniques
- Maintain a safe and supervised environment for all students during service delivery
- Uphold established policies regarding health, safety, welfare, and educational standards within the school community
