Key Qualifications:

• Master's degree is required; bachelor's degrees are not accepted for this position
• Active LARA license required (LMSW, LPC, or equivalent). Please verify eligibility at the Michigan LARA website
• Experience in school-based social work, counseling, psychology, or therapy (individual and group settings)
• Proficient with SOAP notes, electronic documentation, and Google tools
• Eligible credentials include:
  • Licensed or limited licensed master’s level psychologist/social worker
  • MDE credentialed school psychologist
  • Licensed/limited licensed marriage and family therapist
  • School counselor license or Michigan teaching certificate with school counselor endorsement
  • Preliminary/temporary school counselor credential (with LARA application commitment)
• Previous work with adolescent or high school populations is preferred

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct counseling services (individual and group) to general education students
• Support classroom and school-wide social-emotional learning and positive behavior programs
• Document all interactions and interventions using SOAP note methodology and digital tools
