• A mid-November start supporting a typical elementary school environment.
• A December start position focused on severe ASD classrooms—ideal for those eager to learn, grow, and support students with complex needs.
• A January start in a typical elementary setting, with the added assurance of another social worker at each location.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Social Work required.
• Eligibility to work as a School Social Worker, with either three 10-letter endorsements for school social work or a preliminary certification in the MOECS system.
• Previous experience in school-based environments preferred, though openness to learning is valued—especially for the ASD-focused position.
• Compassion, adaptability, and a passion for supporting young learners’ social-emotional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver evidence-based social-emotional and behavioral interventions to individual students and small groups.
• Collaborate with teaching staff, families, and other support professionals.
• Document services provided and maintain compliance with school and state regulations.
• Serve as a resource for classroom teachers and contribute to IEP and 504 planning as needed.
