School-Based Social Worker - Denver, Colorado

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program
• Active state licensure or ability to obtain licensure as a School Social Worker
• Prior experience in a school setting preferred, working with K-6 students a plus
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and maintain confidentiality

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct services and crisis intervention to students needing social/emotional support
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized plans to address students’ behavioral and mental health needs
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote a positive and inclusive school climate
• Conduct assessments and maintain accurate documentation of student progress and interventions
• Participate in team meetings, professional development, and school-wide initiatives to foster student growth
