Key Qualifications:
- Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license in Social Work
- Previous experience working as a Social Worker in a school environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively partner with students, families, and school staff
- Ability to support elementary-aged children with diverse needs
- Familiarity with developing and implementing interventions, counseling, and crisis response plans
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support services and counseling to elementary students
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to address the social, emotional, and behavioral needs of students
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized plans to help students succeed academically and personally
- Lead group and individual intervention sessions as required
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team strategies
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to student services
