Social Worker in Denver, CO

Contribute meaningfully to students’ success and well-being in an itinerant social worker position spanning two K-12 campuses. This contract opportunity, running from August 31, 2026, to May 27, 2027, centers on providing support as you cover two consecutive FMLA leaves. You'll have a diverse caseload, working with students across all grade levels, ensuring they receive vital behavioral, emotional, and social support during pivotal moments in their educational experience.

What you'll need to succeed:

• Active Colorado licensure as a School Social Worker
• Previous experience serving K-12 students in educational settings
• Strong ability to adapt to different school environments and travel between locations
• Excellent skills in communication, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving
• Passion for helping students overcome challenges and thrive both academically and socially

Core responsibilities:

• Provide direct support, crisis intervention, and counseling services to K-12 students
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to develop and implement individualized support plans
• Maintain accurate, confidential case documentation and progress records
• Help facilitate access to community resources and coordinate with outside agencies as needed
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to address student needs and ensure holistic support
