This full-time contract position focuses on delivering high-quality social work services, collaborating with educators and families, and contributing to student success through proactive intervention and support. Located near Detroit, MI, you’ll play a pivotal role helping adolescents thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Michigan School Social Worker certification
- Valid Michigan Social Worker License (LLMSW, LMSW, or LCSW)
- Previous experience working in a school setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of behavioral intervention strategies and Positive Behavioral Interventions & Supports (PBIS)
- Skilled in conducting comprehensive social, behavioral, and crisis evaluations
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with students, staff, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide behavioral interventions and support services to middle and high school students
- Conduct needs assessments and formal evaluations as part of the special education process
- Work closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to design and implement student-centered intervention plans
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, sharing insights and advocating for effective student supports
- Facilitate and assist in the PBIS process, encouraging positive outcomes across the school community
For this role, compensation ranges naturally from $45/hr to $52/hr. In addition, eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, as well as access to housing and meals/incidentals while on assignment. More information about our healthcare coverage is available upon request after applying.
