Key Qualifications:
- Hold Social Worker certification for schools (310 approval or preliminary approval required)
- Previous experience or coursework relevant to school social work (SSW) preferred
- Ability to foster strong, positive relationships with middle school students
- Comfort working with youth who may occasionally display challenging or aggressive behaviors
- Desire to collaborate as part of a supportive team, including onsite mentorship and guidance from an experienced, full-time social worker
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide social work services to a diverse range of middle school students, addressing both ongoing and acute needs
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to improve student well-being and school success
- Maintain clear, confidential documentation and progress reports
- Participate in team meetings and build partnerships that promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment
