Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program
• Valid state licensure as a School Social Worker (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous experience in a school setting is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of IEP/504 development, implementation, and documentation
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and crisis intervention skills
• Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students’ social, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans
• Provide individual and group counseling to students
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop effective support strategies
• Participate in IEP/504 meetings and help draft required documentation
• Offer crisis intervention and connect families with community resources
• Facilitate trainings or workshops for staff and families as needed
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all school and state policies
