Certified School-Based Social Worker - Edgewood, New Mexico

Key Qualifications:

• Valid LMSW certification; opportunity for LCSW supervision available
• Experience supporting students in educational settings
• Ability to provide both individual and group counseling services

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted support to grade-level or small student groups, based on identified needs and data-driven insights
• Facilitate engaging group and individual counseling sessions, addressing emotional and behavioral challenges
• Act quickly and compassionately to provide crisis intervention when needed
• Collaborate with teaching staff and school teams to integrate proactive social-emotional learning strategies
• Maintain accurate records and case notes while adhering to best ethical and privacy practices
• Focus exclusively on student well-being (this position does not include IEP-related duties)
