Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or related field
• Active state licensure to practice as a school social worker

• Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism
• Knowledge of school policies, special education law, and available community resources

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and provide direct social-emotional support to students
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans
• Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, and administrators to support student success
• Facilitate group or individual counseling sessions and social skills training
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
• Advocate for students’ needs, connecting families with appropriate community services
• Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and district protocols
