In this contracted, full-time, onsite role, you’ll work closely with a caseload of 35 students, supporting their social, emotional, and academic growth. Key Qualifications:
- Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Worker endorsement required
- Experience working in a school setting with students in grades 6–8
- Strong communication and consultation skills
- Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation
- Ability to build rapport with students, families, and staff
- Demonstrated organizational and time-management abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative social work services to students
- Gather and maintain data for progress monitoring and reporting
- Complete IEP paperwork for annual, initial, and reevaluation meetings
- Advocate for student needs within multidisciplinary teams
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to develop student support strategies
