Certified Grades 9 - 12 Social Worker in Elmhurst, IL

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Social Worker endorsement required
• Experience working with students in grades 6-8 strongly preferred
• Skilled in both direct counseling and consultative support
• Confident in completing and managing IEP paperwork for annual, initial, and reevaluation meetings

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct minutes and consult minutes for student support as outlined in IEPs
• Gather and analyze data in preparation for progress reports
• Complete thorough, timely IEP documentation for meetings and annual reviews
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure students’ needs are being met
• Provide social-emotional support tailored to each student's unique challenges and strengths
