Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license in School Social Work is required
  • Previous experience in a school setting or working with elementary-age children is highly desirable
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and collaborate with staff
  • A deep understanding of social, emotional, and behavioral issues affecting young learners
  • Ability to manage caseloads efficiently and maintain thorough documentation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct social work services to elementary students, individually and in groups
  • Develop and implement intervention plans addressing social, emotional, and behavioral challenges
  • Serve as a liaison among students, families, and educational staff to coordinate support and resources
  • Participate in IEP meetings, collaborate on behavior intervention plans, and support crisis response as needed
  • Promote student wellness and advocate for safe, inclusive learning environments
