Seeking an enthusiastic School Social Worker for a contract opportunity just outside Evergreen, CO for the upcoming 2026/2027 academic year. This part-time position (24 hours per week) focuses on delivering essential support services to students, collaborating with educational staff, and helping foster a positive learning environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid and active Colorado Social Worker License (required)
- Prior experience in a school setting, preferably as a School Social Worker
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, families, and staff
- Understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and resources affecting student welfare
- Ability to assess student needs and work within multidisciplinary teams
- Organized and efficient in documenting services and maintaining caseload details
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling for students experiencing academic, behavioral, or social challenges
- Work collaboratively with teachers, counselors, and administrators to support student well-being and success
- Serve as a liaison between students, families, and community resources
- Maintain thorough and confidential documentation of services and student progress
- Engage in data gathering and reporting related to caseload management
- Assist in creating and implementing prevention and intervention strategies to enhance student engagement
