Desired Background & Experience:

• Hold certification or credentials as a School Social Worker, School Psychologist, or Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant (LDTC)
• Proven experience in school-based case management and/or support services
• Deep understanding of learning disabilities and best practices for interventions
• Strong advocacy, communication, and organizational skills
• Familiarity with state and federal regulations related to special education
• Ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams and engage with students and families effectively

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the interim case manager for assigned students, ensuring their educational and emotional needs are addressed
• Oversee, monitor, and coordinate services for students identified with learning disabilities
• Facilitate meetings, including IEP development and progress reviews, involving staff and families
• Maintain detailed records and documentation in accordance with policy and legal requirements
• Provide consultation and support to teachers regarding accommodations, interventions, and resources
• Engage in problem-solving and collaborative planning with teachers, administration, and related service providers
