Title: School Social Worker – Full-Time Therapeutic Day School Position

Overview: Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated School Social Worker to join our team for the 2026/2027 school year. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to support students in a therapeutic day school serving middle and high school populations. The selected candidate will provide counseling and social-emotional support while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to help students achieve success. Requirements:
Active Illinois School Social Worker License or Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Work endorsement required
Previous school-based experience preferred
Experience working with students with behavioral or emotional needs preferred
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Onsite
Responsibilities:
Provide individual and group counseling services to students
Support students' social-emotional and behavioral needs
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and related service providers
Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings
Maintain documentation and support positive student outcomes
Interview Process:
(10-15) minute screening call with a Soliant Education Recruiter
Interview directly with the Director of Special Education and Director of School
Offer is typically within 24 hours of the interview.
Work Hours:
Full-Time
35–40 hours per week
August 3, 2026 – May 21, 2027
Therapeutic Day School
6th–12th Grade Caseload (8–15 Students)
