Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree required; candidates must hold a master’s—bachelor's degrees are not eligible
• Current Michigan LARA license or equivalent credential (school social worker, psychologist, counselor, or marriage and family therapist)
• Experience supporting children or youth in educational settings, individually and in group formats
• Eligible credentials include: licensed or limited licensed professionals (social worker, psychologist, counselor, marriage and family therapist), or appropriate school counseling or teaching endorsements—with state licensure requirements met or in progress

Primary Responsibilities:

• Facilitate individual and group interventions, focusing on social-emotional development for general education elementary students
• Offer direct support and expertise to classrooms and school buildings as needed, including professional learning for staff and implementation of positive behavior programs
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to develop holistic, supportive student plans
• Document and monitor student progress, adapting approaches as necessary to maximize positive outcomes
