Key qualifications for this position include:

• Valid Michigan Social Worker License (LLMSW, LMSW, or LCSW)
• School Social Worker certification specific to Michigan
• Previous experience in a school setting or with adolescent caseloads is preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
• Comfort with writing detailed reports and participating in IEP meetings

Core responsibilities in this role:

• Manage a caseload of 7th and 8th grade students, providing targeted support
• Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Write clear and comprehensive reports to support student needs and progress
• Engage with families, teachers, and administrators to coordinate interventions and resources
• Promote students’ social, emotional, and behavioral growth
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to compliance requirements
