Key Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Social Work required
• Valid state licensure/certification as a School Social Worker
• Proven experience in school-based or youth-focused social work preferred
• Strong communication, advocacy, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively with students, families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams
• Familiarity with special education processes, intervention strategies, and community resources

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop intervention plans tailored to students’ social and emotional needs
• Provide individual and group counseling to support students facing various challenges
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create positive educational outcomes
• Advocate for students’ well-being, helping connect families to community supports and resources
• Support crisis intervention, develop behavior improvement plans, and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) as needed
