This position will support an elementary campus by providing social-emotional services, student support, and collaboration with educators and families across both special education and general education populations.

Position Details

• Assignment: 1 school building
• Caseload: Elementary Special Education & General Education students

Responsibilities

• Provide school-based social work services to elementary-aged students
• Support students with social-emotional, behavioral, and academic needs
• Provide individual and group counseling services as appropriate
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, special education teams, and families
• Participate in IEP, MTSS, and multidisciplinary team meetings
• Assist with behavior support strategies and intervention planning
• Connect students and families with appropriate resources and supports
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state requirements

Qualifications

• Active School Social Worker certification/licensure as required by the state
• Previous school-based experience preferred
• Experience supporting both special education and general education students
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
