As you support high school students in grades 9–12, you will become part of a collaborative team, working together to offer students critical social/emotional development and community support. This position provides valuable exposure to diverse workplace practices, leadership styles, and the opportunity to expand your resume through hands-on roles in SEL coordination, collaborative team processes, and agency partnerships.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current experience supporting high school populations
- Proficiency in coordinating SEL screeners and interventions
- Demonstrated skill in effective communication and collaboration
- History of partnering with outside support agencies
- Licensed or certified as a School Social Worker
Key Responsibilities:
- Address the social work needs of 504 and general education students
- Actively participate in 504 plan meetings
- Coordinate and monitor SEL screener data for all students
- Liaise and collaborate with external agencies to provide comprehensive student support
- Foster positive, productive relationships among staff, students, and families
