Key Qualifications:

  • Active LCSW licensure, with current NPI number
  • Registered on the PAVE portal to participate in school-based mental health programming
  • Previous experience in a school setting as a social worker is highly desired
  • Current credential preferred
  • Strong understanding of student behavioral health and effective intervention strategies
  • Excellent communication, counseling, and crisis management skills
  • Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individual and group counseling to students, addressing emotional, social, and behavioral needs
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance student success, resilience, and overall well-being
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to plan and deliver tailored interventions
  • Conduct social-emotional assessments and contribute to individualized education or support plans
  • Track progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in meetings as a mental health advocate
  • Provide training or resources for staff and families to promote a healthy school environment
