Key Qualifications:
- Active LCSW licensure, with current NPI number
- Registered on the PAVE portal to participate in school-based mental health programming
- Previous experience in a school setting as a social worker is highly desired
- Current credential preferred
- Strong understanding of student behavioral health and effective intervention strategies
- Excellent communication, counseling, and crisis management skills
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individual and group counseling to students, addressing emotional, social, and behavioral needs
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance student success, resilience, and overall well-being
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to plan and deliver tailored interventions
- Conduct social-emotional assessments and contribute to individualized education or support plans
- Track progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in meetings as a mental health advocate
- Provide training or resources for staff and families to promote a healthy school environment
