Social Worker | Holt, Michigan

A full-time School Social Worker position is available at a school in Haslett, MI, serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade. This contract role begins as soon as possible and extends through June 5, 2026. The social worker will provide essential support to the student population, addressing social, emotional, and behavioral challenges to promote a positive educational experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and provide counseling services to K-12 students
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and community resources to support student well-being
• Develop individualized plans to address students’ social and emotional needs
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to intervention strategies
• Provide crisis intervention and advocate for students’ rights and needs within the school setting

Qualifications and Experience:

• Fully licensed LMSW through LARA
• Full Approval or Professional Certification as a School Social Worker through MDE
• No or limited license candidates are not eligible
• Must be available to work onsite
