School-Based Social Worker | Holt, Michigan

A full-time school social worker position is available in Holt, MI, supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade. This role involves providing both direct and group support to students, attending Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, and assisting with the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) process. Additionally, the social worker will contribute to the Positive Behavior Intervention Support (PBIS) framework and collaborate closely with parents, school administration, and other personnel to create a supportive educational environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing a caseload covering K-12 students
• Delivering direct and group social work services
• Participating actively in IEP meetings
• Supporting the implementation of MTSS procedures
• Promoting and aiding the PBIS initiatives within the school
• Coordinating efforts with parents and various school staff for student success

Qualifications:

• Michigan School Social Worker Certification or the ability to obtain it
• Licensed as a Social Worker in Michigan (LLMSW, LMSW, or LCSW required)
• Experience working with school-aged children (K-12) preferred
