Qualifications:

  • Current and valid 310 School Social Worker Certification required
  • Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution
  • Prior experience working with children or adolescents in a school setting is highly desirable
  • Strong communication, rapport-building, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and outside agencies

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and group counseling to students facing social, emotional, or academic challenges
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop strategies that support student success
  • Conduct assessments and participate in IEP/504 meetings as needed
  • Connect students and families to community resources and services
  • Deliver crisis intervention and support services when required
  • Maintain accurate and confidential student records
