Key Qualifications:
- Valid School Social Worker certification or eligibility in Pennsylvania
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with grades K-4, strongly preferred
- Background supporting students requiring emotional and behavioral support
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and advocacy skills
- Ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Familiarity with developing and implementing IEP/504 plans and behavioral interventions
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support students’ social, emotional, and behavioral needs within the elementary school environment
- Conduct assessments and provide targeted interventions for individuals and small groups
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to create effective support strategies
- Contribute to the IEP/504 planning process by offering insights and recommendations
- Serve as a resource to educators and families, connecting them with community support services
