Social Worker in Kingston, PA

Make a difference in the lives of young learners as a contract Social Worker supporting elementary students in emotional support programs. This is a full-time opportunity, working onsite with grades K-4, helping students build social-emotional skills and thrive in a supportive learning environment. Your Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution
• Valid state licensure as a School Social Worker
• Previous experience working in school settings, particularly with elementary-age children
• Demonstrated ability supporting students with emotional or behavioral needs
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and indirect social-emotional support services to identified students in grades K-4
• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions focused on emotional regulation, coping skills, and social interaction
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education teams, and families to support student progress and well-being
• Develop intervention plans, conduct assessments, and document student progress
• Participate in IEP meetings and serve as an advocate for students’ social and emotional needs
• Maintain appropriate records in compliance with school and legal requirements
