School Social Worker - Lakeville, MN

We are seeking a skilled social worker for a contract assignment in a supportive educational setting from August 31, 2026, to December 22, 2026. This role is scheduled for Wednesdays through Fridays, allowing you to balance your professional and personal commitments.

Key Qualifications:

• Current licensure as a Social Worker
• Experience in school-based settings, particularly in elementary schools
• Familiarity with healthcare-related social work practices
• Strong skills in counseling, crisis intervention, and case management
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, especially with children, faculty, and families
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support and intervention to elementary school students facing emotional, social, or behavioral challenges
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create individualized plans promoting student well-being
• Facilitate group and one-on-one counseling sessions
• Liaise with community resources and healthcare professionals as needed
• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation of all interactions and interventions
• Contribute to a positive and inclusive school culture
