We are seeking a skilled social worker for a contract assignment in a supportive educational setting from August 31, 2026, to December 22, 2026. This role is scheduled for Wednesdays through Fridays, allowing you to balance your professional and personal commitments.
Key Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Social Worker
- Experience in school-based settings, particularly in elementary schools
- Familiarity with healthcare-related social work practices
- Strong skills in counseling, crisis intervention, and case management
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, especially with children, faculty, and families
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support and intervention to elementary school students facing emotional, social, or behavioral challenges
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create individualized plans promoting student well-being
- Facilitate group and one-on-one counseling sessions
- Liaise with community resources and healthcare professionals as needed
- Maintain thorough and confidential documentation of all interactions and interventions
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive school culture
