K-5 School-Based Social Worker - Lansdale, Pennsylvania

Make a meaningful impact on elementary students’ lives as a Social Worker throughout the 2026-2027 academic year. This contract role offers an opportunity to support and empower students in grades K-3 by fostering a positive, inclusive school environment and delivering essential social and emotional services.

This position runs from ASAP through June 2027, working 35-40 hours each week. You’ll collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and families to address barriers to student success and provide direct support to a diverse group of young learners.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Social Work
• Active LSW or LCSW license
• Proven experience in a school setting
• Background working with children in grades K-3 is highly preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to implement interventions and build rapport with students, families, and staff

What You’ll Do:

• Provide individual and group counseling to students in need
• Develop and implement interventions that promote positive behavioral and academic outcomes
• Partner with teachers, administrators, and families to identify and address student needs
• Facilitate connections with community resources to support students and their families
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of services and progress
• Participate in school-wide initiatives for social-emotional learning and student support
